  • Know the resolution and screen size you are recording.(Quicktime is full resolution but some recording software will let you choose for upload purposes)]
  • Check the audio levels of your recording microphones(internal or external)

  • Have at least a simple script which includes bullet point for each subject you will discuss.

  • Prepare a folder of resources on your dektop of files you may show .
  • Make your video less than 10 minutes and if you need more time make 2 videos.
  • Take advantage of sharing links or content outside of the video to enable students to immediately reflect or be assessed on the content.
  • If you begin to have multiple videos organize them in a central place and have them easy to share
  • Become familiar with the simple editing tools in Youtube or if you want additional editing learn how to add edits using imovie.
